Sampson pack sentries find Althea Bishop, comatose, during a harsh winter storm in Western Wyoming. The sentries take her to the packhouse infirmary. When Althea wakes, she tells of rogues attacking and destroying her pack. Danger follows her in the form of two wolf-shifters. They each want to claim her because she is a rare Omega.
