No More Endlings: Saving Species One Story at a Time

When I first started working on this book, I thought it would be a wonderful way to share the passion, knowledge and hard work of those who have given their lives, even if only a small portion, to the conservation of a species. My hope was to inform and encourage action from those who are less aware of our world’s diversity. Little did I know, I too would be enlightened throughout the process. It was one thing to be aware of a threatened species plight through a snippet I heard on the news or an assignment I worked on during college in my endangered species class, but my awareness was escalated to a new level when I was immersed in the emotional and scientific quandaries of my contributors’ personal stories.
